The house of sultans, the residential palace. Harem, which literally means "forbidden" in Arabic, is the forbidden part of the palace. No one could enter the Harem except the Sultan and his family, and their servants. Hundreds of concubines, guards and eunuchs served the sultanate for hundreds of years.
The Topkapi Palace isn't just a palace with decorated rooms, it's a proper museum with many incredible exhibitions. The treasury with jewels and thrones, armory with ceremonial weapons and banners, royal kitchen, and the most unique of them all, the Holy Relics exhibition with belongings of prophet Mohammad, Moses, Abraham and many others.
The Imperial Council is where the Ottoman Empire was ruled from for hundreds of years. All the history changing decisions regarding war, riots, law and diplomacy were discussed in this room before they were presented to the Sultan's approval. This is where history was written and recorded.
